Regularly use lip balm in one week prior before treatment. The purpose of using lip balm is to keep your lips moist and plump so it will be easier for the pigment to enter your lips.
Regularly drink a lot of water. Water helps to hydrate the body so that your lips don’t become chapped or dry.
Stop consuming vitamin C and blood thinning medications at least 2 weeks before treatment. Vitamin C and blood thinning medications can trigger a lot of blood to come out during the treatment process so it will make the pigment difficult to get into the lips.

According to the color wheel, a purplish lips will be fixed with the opposite color which is yellow. As well as a bluish lips, fixed with orange as its opposite color on the color wheel. If we directly overwrite it with your desired color like peach, red, or pink, it will make an even darker lips. That’s why we suggest you fix your lips into a fresh lip color (pinkish) first and then when a retouch appointment comes, you can choose your desired color.

Velvet Lips also can neutralize your lip color if you have dark or pale lips. For dark lips, the first treatment process aims to restore your lip color to healthy and fresh lips. Why don’t we immediately overwrite it with your desired color? Because it’s like mixing paint color, we have to remove the dark lip color with the opposite color according to the color wheel.

Scrub. When you come, the first treatment we do is scrub. The function of the scrub is to remove the dead skin on the lips area, so the color will fully enter.
After scrubbing, we will put on anesthesia. The anesthesia function is to reduce and relieve the pain that might happen during the embroidery process. Usually, the anesthesia takes 10 minutes. Anesthesia is performed on one part of the lip first.
After anesthesia, we started the Mapping process. This process was done to balance a lip shape.
After mapping, we started the embroidery process. Usually, it takes 1.5 hours for each lip part because patience is required for adding a fuller color. If we do it faster, it will make the lips swollen.
After finishing the embroidery process, We will do a final check on the shape and color with the artist. At this stage, we hope that you can be open to saying the lacking part while giving the brow artist time to double-check. After you are both satisfied, then the process is done.

To take good care of your lip color and shape, exclusive care is needed to protect a desired lip color that entered perfectly. The following are some ways to take care of your lips results:

Do not consume any spicy food or any kind of seafood before your lips are peeled off completely. Because it will be irritating.
Eat with a spoon and insert it a little bit deeper into the mouth. You should eat with a spoon because it will minimize the food touching the lip area. so when you already do the lip embroidery you should be careful.
While drinking, use the straw. You have to use a straw to prevent the lips from being exposed to water so the color absorbs to the skin perfectly.
Use a children’s toothpaste until it’s peeled off completely. Use toothpaste that doesn’t contain mint to prevent the pain that is caused by the foam from the toothpaste while brushing your teeth.
After eating, you should rinse your lips. Because the food left over on the lips area will cause germs and bacteria. Clean your lips with drinking water (mineral water), and tap it with a dry tissue. Do not rub it.
Try to get enough sleep and drink enough mineral water to keep a stable immune system.
